New Chapter

He smiles at the sight of her,
She blushes and he sighs,
Her mind a swirling, spinning blur,
As her gaze falls deep into his eyes
He jokes as though they always knew,
That they were meant to be,
And how he wonders what she'll do,
When he asks her, "Will you marry me?"
The answer to the question led,
Both down a path worth treading,
For when she responded, she had said,
"I hear the chiming bells of a wedding,"
A once hidden door now opens for the two,
And only together will each be able to pass through.

My teacher was nice and didn't force us to do the Shakespearean Sonnet. However, I did it for extra credit. I don't know how accurate it is to a sonnet because we got to forego some of the rythmic stuff because my teacher is nice like that.

lol, anyway, I just sort of came up with something on the spot, so I hope it's liked. I think this is the only poem I've written in my poetry scrapbox that isn't emo-ish. lol.

Nope! lol, I was just trying to think of something that rhymed ^^; and my teacher said it HAD to be romantic/love-related. Really that's all it was. Nothing exciting there :P

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :D

Sorry I didn't get to see you today to wish it to you in person :(

I have your drawing finished (though I doubt it's what you expected). If I see you tomorrow I'll show it to you ^-^
